Oberon’s Song

This song occurs at the end of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (5:1:403-424) and is sung by the character of Oberon, the King Of the Fairies.  The song is essentially a blessing, in which he wishes the very best for the protagonists/lovers and their future children.  I liked the text so much that I actually set it to music twice.  This particular musical version has a lullaby-like quality which seemed to suit the feeling of closure in the play.
