This song treads that line somewhere between inspirational music and pop. I don’t normally write lyrics that are vague, but in this case, I wanted people to be able to take away whatever they wanted from the song. It speaks of overcoming adversity and finding your truth, whatever that is for you. I am, of course, indebted to the poet Robert Browning, and his immortal words:
“A man’s reach should exceed his grasp
Or what’s a Heaven for?”
